Sounds good. I just got back from Las Vegas so I’m re-adjusting for a day or two. But I’ll get some stuff up here before the week’s out. Can’t wait to see what others post…

    That’s TOTALLY excusable 🙂

I’m hoping to place my order in the spring. We maxxed out on all categories where I work and we are in line to get a decent bonus. I’m hoping to put a bit towards my next cam. However, my significant other has been making plans as well so, who knows…

fyi – For those interested, the GB hit 50%! That means all of Camel Audio’s stuff is 50% off. And there are a bunch of extras thrown in for everyone. That includes Alchemy users that didn’t even participate in the GB.

    Too cool 8)

I wonder if I should delay the release of 2.23 so that it includes the changes to the mixer?

    That makes sense to me.

Thanks for the quick info Frits.

I guess it’s one of those things that doesn’t move to the top of everyone’s priority list right away. Suffice it to say that I’ll be looking at how Podium implements this functionality closely (whenever that bridge is crossed).

xis23, thanks for the screen shots I think I understand a bit better now. In addition I found your mp3’s interesting and not that unusual at all.

However, the way you have everything layed out is definitely an aquired taste. I can only wrap my head around such things when presented in some visual fashion that hides the complexity. For instance, visually I could see this much better in Tracktion. I could make that happen with racks pretty easy. However in Podium, things get too cluttered to handle such things as this. I don’t really like Reaper for such things either. I can even visualize it better in Live. But, I digress…

    Thanks again for sharing 🙂

Would you be able to post a list of what a 15 plugin chain might consist of? I’m just curious. Seriously. This is something that I’m having a problem grasping.

Looking forward to what will come end of october regarding Scarlet & Epic… 😀

Their camera systems are game changers. Such a small company making such a big impact is exciting. Now whether I can afford one (camera and system) is a whole different story 🙂

    I kind of like the RED Digital Camera approach;

“Specifications, prices and delivery dates are subject to change. Count on it.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone with a bad attitude.”

Awesome cameras and equally awesome mandate 🙂

Say it to Frits, oh wait, he doesn’t listen you. (note sarcasm)

    Wow, more of the same.

Have it your way but please note this… This is the most civil forum that I visit on the internet. And it has the least number of fanboys on the internet, IMO. Your note of sarcasm does not dismiss the underlying spirit of that statement. This is not becoming behaviour.

I am not a moderator here and I won’t be addressing this particular subject again (the nature of your posts). I just thought it should be said that for a very long time we have valued everyone’s input here. Yes, even yours. It would be nice if it could stay that way, no?

Mine or couple other users opinions doesnt matter nothing. Frits just do whatever he, or couple his fan boys wants.

Thanks for posting Markus. You have made some good points and some of them have been pointed out in the past by other users. And it is that reason that I call BS on the statement above.

I’ve hung out here for a while and what I have seen is that most of the users of this app are not participating in the forums. One of the reasons Frits had the original license as a lifetime deal was due to the users giving feedback and doing the beta testing for him. Fair exchange and all that jazz.

I think if you would dig a little deeper than the last few months you will see that many of the regulars have taken issue with many of the features and their implementation over the years. Most of the time we get what we want. Some times we don’t. But Frits is amazingly open minded to new ideas especially those that are expressed in the correct format.

What you may be mistaking for fanboi’ism is instead a learned way of communicating to each other and to Frits, our desires, request, disgust, comtempt or joy for any feature, present or future. Have no doubt I am not ok with a few features in Podium but I respect others opinions, specifically Frits, in regards to the direction that app should go.

I agree with a few of your points. I’m only suggesting that you look at the delivery. And no I don’t hate you. Please speak up! And do it often. Just do it in a respectful way.
