Thanks Frits!
As and when it comes it’ll be great. I’m really enjoying the default GUI – nicest I’ve seen in any host! Some plugs have additional features which are not available through the manufacturers GUI – any chance that a switch could be available to toggle the supplied GUI and a default GUI? I use hidden parameters in my BetaBugs plugs, so that there is more there than meets the eye, but sometimes need to much about behind the scenes.. This isn’t definite requirement, just a nicety really!
I Love this software!

I believe the phrase ‘You da man’ is appropriate here…!
thx Frits

Frits, I’ve been doing some plugs for Betabugs. I can probably knock up something for you, or some BB plugs could be bundled (they’re all freeware).
I’ve been meaning to mention it for ages, but kept forgetting..
🙂

No!
Just burn the setup to a CD, insert into DAW, install..!
Or..
If the DAW is on a network.. just put it to a network drive!

Hi lalo,
can i install podium on three different computers?
Yes you can. The following is an excerpt of the license agreement:
“You are permitted to use this software on a single computer. You may install the software on up to three computers provided that you use the software on only one computer at a time.”
Frits
Borland used to have something like that – a ‘no nonsense license’ that you could install Delphi as many times as you liked, so long as only one was used at a time. They called it ‘like a book’ – in that you can read a book anywhere, but it is only one book, so cannot be read in multiple locations simulateously..

..use of the shift key when dragging in the velocity area to adjust velocity for all selected events, but I was kind of saving the shift key for ‘relative’ adjustment of velocities as an alternative to the absolute velocities you normally set with the mouse.
reading this again – isn’t this what we want anyway?
No Shift – what happens now
With Shift – Velocities all rise and fall with mouse movt…
if this is so – yes please, that will do nicely…and ignore my previous post!!!!

Control is used for setting velocity to default value.
That explains that behaviour!!! I always found it a weird one when editting – I never got to the bottom of what was happening!!!
How about CTRL+SHIFT… or is this getting rather too much like Word 4.0? (If you press anything with F9, all your text will vanish before your very eyes…!)
There must be a way of doing it – even an option button along with the one that only affects the selected notes. If there was a toggle that would switch between the current operation and one where dragging up and down in the velocity window will raise/lower all selected velocities following the mouse movement… or had you already got there?

that’s a pretty good list, Frits!
Just Downloading!
Merry Christmas!

if you want to keep shift, why not use ALT or CTRL? I’m not fussed, it sounds an excellent feature whatever key combination is used!
DSP
…isn’t that service…
