Hey Liquid.
If it is not too much to ask. Where in Spain do you live?
Chasing after english speaking girls is a lot fun too π
Hi there!
You can always go to one of many Irish Pubs around Spain.
There are groups of people who get together in those to practice Spanis/English among them.
Besides the Ales are quite good π
Hi there;
Voted for Other features because as it is right now. Having Sub-channels for FX and automation is just too troublesome.
For adding FX I have been using EXT as a vst, but the automation curves have no way around them π
In large projects I end up with so many subchannels that I get messed up. It`s my own fault for being a picky mindless user π but that is how I get lost in a project.
Anyway. Podium is a great and stable host that will come thru as a great option. It just needs a bit more time (and Frits needs a vacation to rest his mind π )
Later. I`m off to work (yes on sundays too π‘ )

Hi Kaos, summer is going fine,
Cool. Glad you are enjoying it. We are having some serious summer storms right now so beach time is out of the question fro a couple days π₯ Other than that we are having one hell of a hot summer in the best mediterranean style (Lots of chilled wine and seafood π )
Currently they’re not in the edit menu. There are two undo/redo buttons in the toolbar, and the standard ctrl+z/y can also be used to undo/redo. Maybe I should put the undo/redo commands in the edit menu as well?
I just found the undo options in the right click menu π³ I never knew the key shortcut for them so I will be using those from now on.
I was looking for the edit menu as it is the place where I have found the undo function in most other hosts. I don`t think you should really change them around. Actually I should read the freaking manual π π
I just finished hooking up the sound card and my new micro mixing board. Will try some guitar track recording and will let you know how it all goes.
Thanks for the reply π

i’d like to request that at the top of each plugin GUI you have…
Why would you prefer this to the preset panel in the track inspector?
To me it seems like the preset panel is more confortable to work with as you hav all the information right there in front of you.
But that`s my preference. Most hosts use the system requested by SC. So I guess it is a matter of getting used to working one way or the other. π
Later.
Hi there Frits and every one;
How`s the summer going? I just bought and installed a new M-Audio Audiophile 24/96 sound card (the most basic model) and I have been working with Podium on a couple tunes and the new version is working just fine. Haven`t had any crackles or problems so far. I`ll try and see if I can squeeze the hell out of the program.
I haven`t tried recording my guitar yet so I still have to figure that one out but so far everything runs smooth here π
BTW. I have been looking for it, but can`t seem to find an undo option anywhere in the menu. Is there one? I fuck up quite often π specially while working early in the morning and an un-do option is quite a good option. I`m sure there must be one, but can`t seem to find it.
Anyway. Have a nice summer people! See you around. I`m off to work some more in my music.

Your post is added to the bottom of my evergrowing acousmod-requests.txt file π
It will be a day to celebrate when this list is empty. And when it is, I’ll raise the price of Podium to 1000$ π
This is one of the funniest replies I have ever read from a programmer π
Cool I bought the product before the price raise π
New notes inserted with the pencil tool in the keyboard and drum editors will be set with the note length of any previously selected note event.
Great!!!!
Another round of coding brings nice things to users π
Thanks Frits.
Fixed it! π
I checked the mapping properties of the synths and 2 of them were not set as instruments. I wonder how they changed? π
The third one (String Synth by Algo Music) was set up as an instrument but it still refused to open a piano roll. What I got was a curve event ( the first time) and then an stereo audio window. I could not get it to work so I opened the mapping and looked up the Dll file once again but still no solution. I even changed the synth to a different one and still the same problem so it was in the track not the instrument.
What solved the problem was that I opened a new instance of the synth on a fresh track and copied the MIDI tracks to it and I could open a fresh piano roll and continiue with the arrangement.
I must say I am impressed this is the first problem I find in this program after playing with it for a while π
Good job dude! π
Hmm. I tried loading the default and it didnΒ΄t help.
I still get the same results and no choice of note (piano roll) or keyboard list.
Also now Every channel is silent. I reloaded the definitions to all synths, but get no sound. Weird! π
I must have screwed up somewhere.
I am off to work now, but when I get back I will try and re-install the program to see if it is an instalation thing. If I canΒ΄t get it to work. Where can I send you a copy of the project in case you want to look at it?
Anothe thing that would be helpful is to have the program “remember” all the instruments and FX location/definitions. Regardless of the project you are working with. Once loaded and checked the VSTi list should be in the program memory instead of a per-project basis (my opinion)
Later. π
Pc inspector found an old file I had erased, but Podium wonΒ΄t open it.
I donΒ΄t think this is the file I was looking for.
No big deal. I just started working on another idea. π
Thanks anyway guys π

What you would need for this is a gradual time stretching of the audio events.
FL has this and it is a pain in the ass!!!! Mostly because you can not turn it off.
If you try and record an audio part in a song with time changes you have to listen to the whole song while mixing or the audio parts will not play right.
For other purposes it is great (If you use loops and samples) but for audio recording it is not. I have asked Gol if there would be a way to turn this feature off, but never got a response back π₯
Well. For audio I now have Podium π
@Zynewave wrote:
You can configure the metronome in the preferences setup dialog. There is a gain setting for the audio metronome.
Oh π³ Thanks π

I recently implemented reuse of last note attack and release velocity. I guess it makes sense that it should reuse the note length as well. Will be in release 1.33.
Darned! Dude. Do you ever sleep? π
Thanks for that.
I donΒ΄t know about you but I am going to sleep. Or to bed the sleep depends on IbeΒ΄s (wife) plans π π
Later and thanks for the fast reply.
