Thanks Frits, i wanted to mean the showing of menu bar, the hiding doesn’t matter 🙂
A minor request, please could you delay 0.5 seconds the auto-hide/show of the title bar? I think it would feel more solid 😉

Frits I’m not sure about this, but I honestly think that this new behaviour is a little uncomfortable. When you allow the drag&drop from browser to plugins it could be interesting have both, inspector and browser, visible. I know, you can open a new browser windows, but I don’t like work with floating windows. I liked more the browser at right, maybe you could consider keep it as an option.
Anyway I’ll survive 🙂
Please, remember the mixer colours (maybe i should wait that you work in the mixer). Thanks for those releases, i love the gui improvement 🙂

I’m not entirely happy with the current design. I think it tries to cram too much functionality into the small space of the header. It can be confusing at times with all the controls, menus and different mouse actions. I’m thinking about a solution where the contents in the header is mainly information, and then add a single button on each header. Clicking this button will show a larger popup panel to the right of the track header (semitransparent overlay on the track lanes) with easy controls for managing the effect chain etc. That’s beyond 2.21 though.
+1
Another release as this and I’ll have to update the spanish tutorial. Thanks! 🙂
Just delete it and don’t lose your time, the next time you’ll do it better 🙂
Thanks Frits! 😀
Thanks you Kyran, it will be very useful, i’m learning the basics yet 😳
I really think that every host should be simplified to the minimum, avoiding multiples screens, menus…. = logical stuff = not a good friend for the musician.
This bug is there yet:

Hey Frits, this is a bug (I think it’s a bug) present in olders Podium version also, but I didn’t know how replicate it, now I do know. The bug is that sometimes you cannot delete selected clip in arrangement view with SUPR key (DELETE).
Create any clip in any track, and edit it (add notes/audio/…). Then rotate between profiles with F8 until you reach again the original profile. now try to erase the clip with DELETE/SUPR key, you cannot.
Thanks for the update!
Thanks you guys, i’ll start to learn today C++ because someday I’d like do a very special MIDI plugin and it would be CPU friendly
I don’t know how of useful will be those buttons, maybe they’re for people that uses more of two profiles. I’ll use them while I have to alternate between profiles with F8.
Anyone think reducing “editor profile” to “editor” is a good/bad idea?
I think it’s a bad idea, because there is too many editors in Podium, and it could confuse. If you want supress the word profile try something as “interface editor”, “objetcs editor”…etc 😉
User configuration of key and mouse shortcuts.
And take a look to my Podium configuration:
I work with the left hand in the keyboard left half, so I was thinking that for me would be more useful have tab key [instead F8] for rotate between profiles.
Will this feature of the future plan allow to customize all the keys and mouse buttons? (I want them mainly for Tab key, and for right click in piano roll that do two actions)

While you’re dragging tracks it would be nice eliminate the grey band you see here, leaving the grey line only. It would be more clear where are you moving the track
This is a bad behavior dragging tracks also. If I want move a track above Track 2, it goes inside Main Drums group, it rather confusing for a newbie!
