The window contains embedded track inspector and browser pages, which can be opened/closed by clicking the Inspector or Browser page tabs, or by pressing the F1 to F6 shortcut keys
I think you should say something like F1 to F5 for inspector, and F6 for browser.
I don’t know if you’re asking for merge: select all the clips you want glue, right click and choose Merge 🙂
In spanish keyboards numerical pad + & – keys don’t work. You must use + and – from qwerty keys:
*+] key increases velocity
-_ key decreases it
I’m in favor of remove it, you almost don’t need use that button.
If you allow me, I’ll tell you some consistency changes, feel free implement them 😀 or none 😳 (maybe they’re difficult to program and they would be out scope for this update)
– SpaceBar should start/stop playback independtly where you’ve the focus.
– The minimun note size while resizing should be the relative snap value (not 1/128)
– Drag’n’drop from browser to vsts
– Option in browser’s menu to refresh it
– Adjust absolute & relative snap points, so when they’re close it will be easy choose one or another
– Double clicking in zPEQ should enable the nearest band
– Alt+Intro to rename audio clips (as you do with curve and midi clips), instead shift+Intro
– Alt+Mouse wheel to scroll horizontally, instead shift+MW, since Ctrl+Alt+MW is horizontal zoom. Same behavior in mixer.
– Allow user save the plugin database from menu
– Composite tracks for midi too
– Allow split editor events, not only clips in arrangements
Hi, Maxx’s plugins have their own way to handle presets [using IL Downloader], to it’s imposible that Podium can manage those non-internal presets.
While doing so I’m making some minor changes to the UI to further improve consistency.
When you create a new bus track by adding any new return in an insert track the default button is ‘No’, I think it should be ‘Yes’. Few times I did a mistake using Enter/spacebar key. It hasn’t too much importance, tho
Don’t worry about it, I’ve the same problems in Live lite and Sonar LE, they crash with DirectWave under same circunstances.
Frits, is “BasicHeader.cpp” a Podium file? I getting this crash using DirectWave (simply loading sfz and playing them), so I think it’s related with DirectWave

Some way to then save changes to a file and update that in Podium would be even better still.
I answer you with another kyran top 5 (and one of my favorites):
3. Windows compliant drag and drop: this would allow to drag wav files from podiums browser onto a sampler plugin or a bounced track from the timeline straight to your desktop.
This is the basic need to update the changes in a wav file 🙂
I’d like to point to a MelodyMan request:
4. A quick, one-touch recording option.
Since I don’t need such thing I can see why it’s useful. ATM you can create a track template which is armed and with input selected. So you only need to create the template, press K on your keyboard and Play to start recording. It isn’t a one touch recording way but its pretty close, so it will help you meanwhile, well, I think 😉
Hi Khaos,
Would FL Directwave do the job? I already own that.
Yes, it would. I also own DW. I’d make a template to use it quickly with drums. Since you can rename and limit keys in piano/drum roll you could. Take a look to this video to learn how to do a drum template:

And this one (they’re a serie of three videos) to learn to manage plugins with multiple inputs and multiple outputs

I hope there is the possibility of a pattern based mode, for both sequencing and live performance in the future.
Me too 🙂
That is what I hope 🙂
Anyway I’m a little bored of this city, so I think I’ll change soon 🙂
Is there a way to play notes via my PC keyboard?
No, there isn’t. You could play notes with any keyboard to midi conversor (as Bome’s).
Are there any plans to have some form of pattern sequencing?
I also like pattern sequencing, I was an Orion and FL Studio user too, take a look here: http://www.zynewave.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2312&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=15
Any plans for a drum sampler?
I think there isn’t at the moment, sorry. I bought Poise for that.
I’m from San Sebastian (not San Sebastian de Los Reyes, but Guipuzcoa). Currently I’m living here but its almost sure that if I find a new work it will be in Madrid too
