Thanks for the free version Frits, it will be getting a lot of use here 🙂

Hurray!!!
I love having Podium on a removable media. And since such media most probably is a usb-stick, Frits’s suggestion show, that he really has thought it through.
Would it be possible to have one vst-folder within the podium directory without needing a drive letter in the path? When using a usb stick, the assigned drive letter keeps changing from system to system.
+1
It would also be great if Podium was truely portable and could be run from a USB stick without leaving a footprint behind 🙂
It happens when bouncing any track, including the master. It seems to happen everytime with bounce but so far not with realtime bounce.
I had lots of rewire errors in with DrumCore in the first beta containing rewire but a lot if those were removed when that version was officially released. Unfortunately, I have not had much time to use Podium since then so I cannot say for sure whether they caused the same errors.

Yep it happened whether the power button was off or on.
I unistalled Podium again and then deleted the entire folder containing the podium.ini file which the uninstaller does not seem to remove. Anyway, this seems to have done the trick and I have 2.07 working 🙂
Great. Although, I would still like to find the cause for the crash.
Did you use the mouse or keyboard shortcuts to select the track?
If you used the mouse, where on the track lane header did you click?
I used the mouse and it did not matter where i clicked, it still crashed
I’m also getting DrumCore ReWire error 666 (IsPanelAppLaunched) when I drag and drop from DrumCore into Podium

Hi – I have emailed you my podium.ini file. Yes, it happens before I assign any devices to it. Sounds like you may know what is wrong 🙂
I thought it had something to do with your editor setup, but your Podium.ini file did not crash for me. Please try this: Create a new project without importing plugins. Create a new arrangement without changing the default arrangement settings. Do you still get the crash just by selecting different tracks?
Yes, exactly the same thing happens. I also tried unistalling and going back to 2.06 but now the same thing happens with that version now as well.

Hi – I am unable to use 2.07 as it crashes on me every time I select a track. I was using 2.06 previously with out any problems.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled 2.07 and started a fresh project but get the same problem every time. Podium just hangs and about 10 minutes after ending the process in the task manager it eventually closes.
Anybody else had this happen? It is 100% reproducible for me 🙁

I like the solid round buttons without the glass effect. they integrate pretty well with the rest of the ui.
I agree, I like the new solid ones 🙂

Just clicking the plugin name will open/close the editor instead of showing the track menu as previously.
Sounds great as i am forever doing this as an old habit 😉

The track header meters now show RMS meters similar to the mixer. The meters can be configured as either horizontal or vertical meters. I’m now using the vertical mode as default.
It looks great, thanks Frits 8)
Cool, I like it 🙂

Suggestion for a grid popup:
This popup will appear whenever the mouse is moved over one of the grids. What the screenshot does not show is that I’ve positioned the mouse over the bottom left block in the grid, which is why the text at the bottom of the popup says “set fader at” followed by the track name. Moving the mouse over the blocks will update the popup so that you can easily verify what action the shift+click will perform.
Also note that clicking anywhere in the grid now performs a simple pre/post switch of the meter. You need to shift-click to set the fader/meter to a specific position.
Comments?
Apologies to the win98 users but it’s 10 years old so I vote for Frits moving onto the latest compiler
Awesome, well done Frits 😀
Well, it may not be up to the quality or flexibility of the timestretch in Abelton Live but its a lot better than I expected. Its sound is certainly comparable to any other pitchshift plugin I have tried and is seriously more CPU efficient!
It will definately have its uses in future projects 😀
Good work, thank you Frits 8)
