I’m a bigger fan of Share-IT than PayPal.. Couldn’t tell you why, PayPal seems too adhoc..
Even better, I would happily send you a cheque, then you don’t have any percenage taken out (I would compensate for currency conversion..). As a programmer, I’m far happier using ‘physical’ money rather than virtual!!
If your OK with that let me know.

Frits, I seem to recall that Pan Automation was fixed up a release or two ago…
How do I get it to work? I can’t seem to!!!

Don’t know, I can’t get this to happen. When you say ‘Get an arrange window’ I assume you mean you enter the arrangement editor in the main browser?
Yip, that’s the one. I think it’s because the current tune I’m working on uses NuBi, which causes an AV on closing the audio engine. So closing the project may mean that the INI is not updated on application close. I’ll test some more!
I hadn’t noticed the timed backup thing being there (easy to miss!). Good!

Get an arrange window.
Alter the setup of the tools bars, inserting a File Menu just before the Edit one. This is really useful for accessing save features and plugin imports without going back to the main project browser (not that you need to know my work flow!).
Save all changes. I theory, the filemenu should be there when I reopen the project.. It isn’t – reverts to the default. I can only get those customisations to stay for a session, then vanish on reopen..
Bug?
other than that, not bad at all!
btw, can I put in a request for a timed backup? I realise that it will be low on the list of priorities, but it would be great to know that it is on the way!

I won’t be rushing out a new release just for this bug though 😉
What!!! It’s really cramping my style!!! Call this service????? 😉 😉
thx, I look forward to getting it as and when…!

The piano roll and context menus are great!
However, if you have a sequence editor open, and have it moved so that the left hand edge is beyond the left of the screen (including part of the ‘Edit’ menu dropdown button)…
Now click the Edit button to get the drop down menu, it appears about a quarter of the way across the screen.
Is this by design? I would expect it to appear hard to the left of the screen, so it still appears to have something to do with the button pressed..
Not a problem, but doesn’t look good!
All going well, other than that!

Well, 0.93 reactions…
I like the tooltips, don’t linger any longer than they are needed (like M$ products), and are of a good readable size.
Undo/Redo hints are good.. could they be made to list, say, the last 4 or 5 actions? Sometimes, I make a mistake, and do a couple more things before I realise where I went wrong, and so being able to see the audit trail a bit better can help!
I’ve having a problem with a plug crashing Podium with an AV. It’s a beta plug (called Nubi from pj geerlings [betarequest@nubuvsti.org]). It is fully stable on every other host I have tried, and this has been other people’s experience too. I’ll try and get a better handle on when it fails.. It has been on assigning a preset, and when closing Podium (I guess on the plug unload).
Any timescale on default GUI’s? (I’ve checked future.htm) I like using the mda plugins, and the SimulAnalog ones, none of which respond to MIDI CC, so I can’t easily set the parameters using that. I have been creating fxp/fxb files, and loading them into library presets, but that hasn’t worked properly for the SimulAnalog JCM900 plug. A default GUI would alleviate this problem, since it would all be handled with Podium and it’s files…
Other than that, all seems stable still!

I don’t know if this has been mentioned already – if so I missed it:
I would like to be able to resize notes in the piano roll using the pencil, and/or pointer. This would be wonderful.
Use the pencil tool. Select a note. move cursor to the right of the note. Hold CTRL and click, drag left to shorten, right to length the note.
Not sure about the others. I’m getting my head around copy and paste too. Pseudo MFX support – sounds good!

looked them up on archive.org..
take your pick: http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.samplerchan.com/

I like nerd mode! can we see more of it?
My wife calls it ‘explain mode’ in me!

try increasing your buffers.
from the project browser – setup – Midi/ Audio interfaces – audio tab.
mazke a note of the current setting (incase you want to take it back later), then increase it.
It might not work, but does for me. Mine is set at 4096 (92ms) for my MME driver (no ASIO!)

on a similar topic, I’m having a problem with loopazoid…
If I load a kit, do a GM mapping, get everything set up nicely, using a library preset with sync and everything… when I close the project and reopen, loopazoid is there mapped to the right place, but with no kit..!
I know that kits can be saved with songs, as NTrack does it. I’ll see when 0.93 comes out whether it has been solved… Unless you can tell me from the start that it won’t be!

Frits,
Jazz++ (on sourceforge) has things that you might be able to be inspired by on the editor front…
Just a thought!

…oh yeah!!!!
