    @Levendis

Thanks for your comments always kind and balanced!
As you saw, I don’t always manage to be so, but I’m in good company. I don’t add anything to not make the discussion even more fiery.

    Plan B:
That is one of the roads (ways?) that could have taken this topic. We took the uphill. With your proposal, I hope that finally we will go downhill. 😉

On SoundCloud I’ve already found something really interesting, but the website has some very strong restrictions for uploading and sometimes it does not allow me to publish the track even with the consent of the “owning” user.

Is this really important topic, even for a mere curiosity? It feels much like computer games on forums many years ago When guys would ask the same, and it just has this weird, creepy feeling to it.

For me, yes, because until now I have only ever discussed with men. Women have a vision of things (and the world) completely different from men (better, but that’s just my opinion), they have a greater sensitivity: all that they do (or almost), they do it better than men.
That’s why I’d like to discuss with them in this forum, to have a different point of view. Maybe you have the opportunity to discuss electronic music (because of this we are talking about) with the women you know. If I speak of DAWs with women that I know, they fall asleep!

I admit that the question may sound sexist, but it was definitely not my intention. If I want to know how many women are there in this forum what to ask:
“How many non-men are there in the forum?” … I don’t think.

politically incorrect? … If I were a female, I would not be responding to the thread. From what I’ve seen, usually the only females to Respond to requests longer available are either attention seekers or are strongly idealistic and think they might be proving something about Themselves or the state of women in (whatever it is, games, music, etc.) .

You could just as easily ask, However, are there any government Officials on these forums? Are there any solar power engineers? Are there any gamers on these forums? (I’m one!)

As a man, are you offended by what I wrote above?
If a woman is surprised by a man who works crochet, is it completely normal?
If a man is surprised about a woman who is a mechanic, is it discrimination?
The reason is historical: for too long, women are subjugated by men, so it is normal they raise the barricades …
I will not bore you with the story of my life, but anyone who knows me, knows that I’m not sexist, definitely …
    Ah, I’m a civil engineer … 😉

This is the reason for the question!

One last thing: you have been a bit “risky” in your objection. If I were a woman and I wanted to do a trick question? 😕

Greetings to all, it was a pleasure!

I was interested to know if there is any woman who “engages” with the computer music.

    @Jiri_Smolik

    I’ve visited your website yesterday.
I’m glad to tell you that if you want, you can add also my video tutorials about using Podium Free.
They are very simple but they may be useful.
See my signature below to find them.

    Cheers.

I think the only one problem is the configuration file and plugin database file.
You should check the location of configuration files. If they’re in a folder with different name (e.g. “Podium 64” and “Podium 32”) then there isn’t problems.
If the folder is the same, the configuration file and the plugin database file will be overwritten and you’ll have the settings of Podium 32 in Podium 64 and viceversa.

However, if the plugin database files are differents, when you open a project with the different version from that you created it, you’ll miss the plugins.
To avoid this, you must customize the plugin database for each project: it’s possible but it’s a bit complicated. In the forum you can find several post on this topic.

I have Win XP, so I can’t check this for you. By the way, if you don’t have 64 bit plugin, I suggest you to install and to use Podium 32 only. In this way, you have all your plugins available and you don’t need the JBridge tool.

Waiting for answers by other users with Podium on Win 7 64 bit.

    You’re welcome.
EnergyXT is perfect and it has more features than Wusik VM. 😉

    Hi xylo,
MIDI plugins are not supported in Podium. You must use a sub-host for this kind of plugins. I’m currently using Wusik VM.
Another “workaround” is to use a virtual MIDI input/output driver, such MIDI Yoke or even better, CopperLan, but this way it’s more complicated and in Podium Free “MIDI interface setup is limited to one input and one output.”

I’ve tried DSP Trigger with Wusik VM e UVI Workstation (sampler) and it seems to work.

    As a user: 1,4,6

    As a company (Zynewave): 2,3,5

As I wrote in other topic/post, I think the advertising and visibility are the really important things on which to focus and that have become indispensable.

These must be accompanied by updates of the program (small, but continuous/constant).

Beyond utility(?), it would be wonderful if Podium was used by a famous producer/artist. I think it would be a spot of great impact. 😉

Even in linear timeline mode you can use the tempo events. 😉
To add the first tempo event do the following:

      – Creates a MIDI sequence with some notes.

      – In the piano roll, with all notes selected, right click and choose “Find matching scale”, click on “Custom”.

      – Double click on the tempo event “Custom” that you’ve just created. The “Time Event Properties” window will appear.

      – Uncheck the box of scale (or keep it if you need it) and check the box of tempo, then set a value for the bpm.

Now you can add more “tempo events” by simply copying the first and changing the value of bpm. Tempo events have no effect on clips (audio and MIDI).

I’ve tried using a vst effect (delay) and seems to work.

    Let me know …
